Democratic Ideals
May 4, 2009
In a world where vices are valued,
And evil reigns supreme,
Betrayal and lies, the inhuman surprise,
We live in an anarchist’s dream,
The sex, the drugs, the squalor and pain,
The life the public deems amiss,
To a person of evil, a villain of such,
This is absolute bliss,
They fight and they drink to their hearts content,
And once the night has gone,
They sleep all day to rest and awake,
For the midnight outing of fun,
The innocents pray and stay very close,
They pray to the deity they choose,
For the hope that one day, salvation comes,
And prevents the life that they lose,
Anarchy, abolishing of such government,
One where no one can agree,
Stems from one thing and one thing alone,
What we call democracy.
